A 32-year-old Webbwood resident faces firearm-related charges following a disturbance on Young Street in Webbwood, said provincial police.
Officers responded to the call on Jan. 11. The complainant reported an acquaintance had returned home with a firearm. Further investigation revealed the man was on a prohibition order not to possess weapons.
He is charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order, and possession of a Schedule 1 substance (methamphetamine).
He is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Espanola on March 7.
