A 48-year-old Walden woman who was caught driving while impaired May 29 is facing two drunk driving-related charges.
The Sudbury OPP said it received two traffic complaints about a vehicle driving westbound on Highway 17 between 9:15 and 9:28 a.m. that morning.
They were told the suspect was driving the vehicle at a slow rate of speed, swerving between lanes and crossing the centre lane.
Officers stopped the woman on The Kingsway at Second Avenue. An investigation revealed the woman had consumed alcohol, a press release said.
The suspect has been charged with driving while impaired and failing a breathalyzer test. She is expected to appear in Sudbury court June 8 to answer to the charges.
