A 55-year-old Val Caron woman robbed the Quik Mart on Highway 69 on Nov. 26, using a can of Raid to threaten and demand cash from staff, said Greater Sudbury Police Service.
The suspect entered the store around 11:30 p.m. She grabbed cash from the register and fled on foot.
Officers contained the area and, using a canine track, found evidence from the robbery that led the officers to a home. A search warrant was executed, and the suspect was found inside, said police.
She was arrested for robbery with a weapon and possession of stolen property.
