Greater Sudbury Police are seeking the public’s help to find a woman who was dressed as Wonder Woman when she allegedly assaulted another person at Ferrigan’s Pub in Garson on Oct. 26.
The incident, which also involved another man who allegedly inappropriately touched the woman precipitating the assault, occurred during a Halloween party at the Birch Street pub.
The alleged assaults began when a “community member was sexually assaulted on the dance floor around 1:55 a.m. by an unknown man described as being in his early 20s, around 5-8 tall, with shaggy brown hair.
“The man inappropriately grabbed the community member when she walked past him,” police said.
The man was wearing a green zip-up jacket and green baseball cap at the time of the incident.
The person who was touched inappropriately confronted the man, GSPS said, but then a woman dressed as Wonder Woman struck the woman, causing her to fall backwards onto stairs leading to the pub’s stage.
She sustained minor injuries as a result.
The woman responsible for the assault is described as being in her 20s, standing 5-6, with a medium build and a round face. She was wearing glasses and was dressed as Wonder Woman at the time of the incident, police said.
