Three young men who concocted a scheme to break into a New Sudbury apartment complex office to steal keys to various units, and then broke into two apartments and a business, will spend most of the summer in jail.

Matthew Glenn, 19, and Gabriel Marchment, 20, both pleaded guilty to several counts of break, enter and theft and numerous other charges Wednesday.

Allyn Miller, 19, a co-accused, will plead guilty to several charges in relation to the same break and enters next Wednesday (May 29).

Court heard that on Jan. 22 or Jan. 23, Glenn and Marchment were part of a group of several people who broke in and stole some keys at a Lasalle Boulevard apartment complex.

Two apartment units and the business were broken into and a large amount of electronics, jewelry and other merchandise was stolen, said assistant Crown attorney Len Walker.

Police dusted for fingerprints and discovered several sets of fingerprints matched those of Miller and Glenn and they were arrested, as was Marchment.
