On Aug. 23, the Greater Sudbury Police Service?s (GSPS) tactical unit arrested two Sudbury men at the Canadian Tire Gas Bar on Regent St. S. in relation to a double murder in Cornwall.

On Aug. 30 at 11 pm, Greater Sudbury Police responded to a robbery call in Azilda. A man had entered the residence, allegedly threatening two women at knife point and demanding money. The man fled on foot with an unspecified amount of money.

Police were quick to arrest a couple of teens accused of robbing a convenience store on Lasalle Blvd. Tuesday morning, just after midnight.

For 17 days Greater Sudbury Police have lead the charge in a search for 42-year-old Daphne Kochar. Despite best efforts, police are still without a clear indication of how the wife and mother of three went missing.
