Greater Sudbury police executed a search warrant for two properties on Vermilion Lake Rd. in Chelmsford Thursday, discovering a pair marijuana grow operations.

Laptop with medical data stolen from hotel room

Greater Sudbury police are asking owners of second hand stores to watch for clients trying to sell them laptop computers. A laptop computer was stolen Sept. 26 from a room at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Sudbury.

Missing persons located

Three people who went missing after they failed to return after dark from an ice-fishing trip on Millerd Lake Thursday have been located. A father, his one-year old son and his 69-year old father-in-law left at 10:30 am Thursday to go ice fishing.

Drowning victim identified

A man who went crashing through the ice while riding his ATV about 200 metres offshore from Maple Point in Billings Township has been identified as David Andrew Boyer, 28, from Aundeck Omni Kaaning First Nation.
