A Walden man who was arrested and charged with numerous sex offences involving children in several jurisdictions across Northern Ontario was granted bail Tuesday.

BY KEITH LACEY A man accused of killing his wife and mother of his three young children 17 months ago will be on trial for the next three weeks.

A 48-year-old Espanola man was killed in a car accident on Highway 17 W. Wednesday evening. The accident, which killed Michael Terrance Gauthier, took place at about 5:20 pm.

By Rick Pusiak OPP are hoping to talk to some young men who helped out at the scene of a traffic accident on May 31. At around 11 pm that Friday night, the Sudbury Detachment responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 17 West near Fen Road.

The Elm Street railway crossing will be periodically closed to traffic this morning.
