Blaze closes King Street for two hours
A King Street house fire on Feb. 15 is under investigation by Sudbury Fire Services. One person suffered minor smoke inhalation and was treated and released at the scene, but two dogs and a cat were lost in the blaze.

Drunk driver arrested on King Street: police
On Saturday, Feb. 13, at 2:22 a.m., a 32-year-old Sudbury man was pulled over after failing to stop, or even slow down, for a red light while approaching King Street on Notre Dame Avenue, according to police.

Police identify human remains found in 2005
A set of human remains found in Lively in April 2005 have been positively identified through DNA analysis. The remains have been identified as Patrick Soikie , of Kitchener-Waterloo, who had been missing since 2000.
