The Ontario Provincial Police arrested two impaired drivers on Highway 17 Aug. 18. At 3:10 p.m., officers received a complaint about an erratic driver in a pick-up truck weaving all over Highway 17 east near Coniston.

A man was charged Aug. 19 with possession of a dangerous weapon and uttering threats to cause death after he allegedly threatened a woman at around noon with what she believed to be a hand gun in the downtown.

Greater Sudbury Police are asking citizens in the New Sudbury area to check their vehicles for stolen items. Police arrested two youths Aug. 18 who were in possession of a large amount of property believed to have come from vehicles.

A Greater Sudbury Transit bus driver has been charged with failing to drive in a marked lane after the bus, which was west bound on Lasalle Boulevard, crossed into the east bound lanes at around 12:20 p.m. Aug.

A 16-year-old boy riding a bicycle collided with a vehicle on Notre Dame Avenue Aug. 15 at around 5 p.m. The boy, who received minor head injuries, was treated in hospital. He was charged for failing to wear a protective helmet.
