A male was riding his bike northbound on the east sidewalk of Regent St., on Aigust 9 at 5:10 pm, when he attempted to maneuver his bicycle around a motor vehicle which was exiting the Super 8 Motel parking lot, said a news release.

Sudbury police have arrested a man in connection with the fatal stabbing of Roger Giguere at Park Hotel in Sudbury on August 1. Henry Stefanczuk was arrested without incident in the afternoon of August 1 and charged with second degree murder.

A woman was robbed at gun-point when she returned to her car from after taking money out at a Caisse Populaire ATM located at 29 Main St. East in Chelmsford at 10:30 pm.

A man received stab wounds to his side following an altercation that broke out in a bat in the area of Park Hotel on Notre Dame Ave. in Sudbury. The incident occurred on Wednesday, August 1 in the early evening.

A 19-year-old man was rushed to the hospital Saturday, July 28 following a stabbing that occured near Shaughnessy St. and Brady St. at 2:10 am. The victim received non life threatening injuries and is recovering, said a news release.

*Levandoski was apprehended on July 27 at approximately 8:45 am. Andrew Victor Levandoski, 34, is wanted by Greater Sudbury Police for an incident which occurred on July 25 at an Attlee St. residence with a victim known to Levandoski.

BY KENT CORNESS Greater Sudbury Police have arrested an 18-year-old man in connection with the murder of Jeffrey Malcolm Mason.

Members of the Sudbury Drug Enforcement Unit executed a CDSA search warrant for a residence on Paquette St. in Azilda. Officers entered the residence on July 24 and seized 61 grams of cocaine valued at $6150, 3.

The commotion on Elm St. was the result of a stand-off between police and a local woman inside the Living Resource Centre. Five Greater Sudbury Police Service vehicles and an ambulance were parked along Elm St. today around 11 am.

A local man, 24, was arrested for the robbery that took place at approximately 10:30 P.M. At the Moonlight Beach Confectionary store located at 2914 Bancroft Dr. in Sudbury.
