A man killed in a rollover accident on The Kingsway on Saturday evening has been identified as a young man from York region near Toronto. Greater Sudbury Police say the accident took place around 9:45 pm Saturday on The Kingsway near Third Avenue.

Series of Copper Cliff arsons has police worried

The Greater Sudbury Police Service has been actively investigating a series of suspicious fires in the Copper Cliff area. The fires have been deliberately set and usually involved garbage bins, vehicles and garages.

Three youths charged in Chelmsford barn fire

At approximately 7 pm Saturday, Rayside-Balfour Fire Services were dispatched to a barn fire at 3940 Municipal Road 15 in Chelmsford. The barn was fully engulfed when fire services arrived.

One dead after rollover on The Kingsway

One man was killed and two other people were injured after an SUV rolled on The Kingsway March 31. Names have been withheld pending notification of next of kin. At around 9:44 pm, the vehicle was speeding westbound on The Kingsway near Third Avenue.

Man struck by car on Lorne St.

A 27-year-old man is in critical condition at St. Joseph's Health Centre after running across Lorne St. and being struck by a car March 30. The man was rushed to hospital with head and internal injuries.

Police looking for theft suspects

Officers from the Sudbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a break, enter and theft which occurred Tuesday, March 27 between 3:45 and 7:00 pm at a construction site on Boalamaki Road in Eden Township.
