A teenager from Lively was killed Sunday after being involved in a snow machine accident. Greater Sudbury Police and EMS were called to the scene of a snowmobile collision on Lake Penage in the area of Crane Point.

BY KEITH LACEY A man whose life has been destroyed by drugs will spend another year in jail after pleading guilty to trying to deal firstly cocaine and then ecstasy one week apart last summer.

The Donovan Fresh Mart on Kathleen St. was robbed Mar. 20 shortly after closing time. . Police believe a man had entered the store earlier in the evening and hid inside until closing time. He managed to get away with an undisclosed amount of money.

BY KEITH LACEY A police program which has assisted victims of domestic violence has been renewed for another year. The Greater Sudbury Police Services Board has agreed to extend the Bail Safety Pilot Project Agreement.

Two men robbed the Quik-Way convenience store at 374 Elm St. in Sudbury at 10 pm on Mar. 19. The robbers entered the store with knives, one with a 7-8” blade, and demanded money from the cashier.

Nobody was hurt after a collision between a city bus and a small jeep on Ramsey Lake Rd. around 10 am Monday morning. Police say the jeep lost control and veered into the path of the bus, which was heading in the opposite direction.

Two southern Ontario men face numerous charges after Greater Sudbury Police say they tried to defraud a local business Wednesday.
