Greater Sudbury Police are investigating a pair of robberies that occurred over the weekend. On Feb. 18, a gas station attendant in Wahnapitae was taken to hospital after being doused in pepper spray.

CVRD Inco's South Mine was evacuated Feb. 15 after a bomb threat. Officers and explosive technicians with the Greater Sudbury Police Service were dispatched to the site around 7 pm.

Drugs seized in Chelmsford

More than $125,000 of illegal drugs were seized by police after a drug bust on Pilon Cres. in Chelmsford.

Stolen power tools recovered

A 50-year-old Sudbury man has been charged after selling power tools that were reported stolen. Police say the man sold the tools to a second hand store Jan. 9. They were reported stolen between Jan. 5 and 7.

Busy day for mall security

Two men were arrested by Greater Sudbury Police after causing a disturbance at the Rainbow Centre Feb. 13. A 26-year-old man was asked to leave the mall when he is reported to have shoved a security guard and was arrested.

Wanted woman in police custody

A woman wanted by Greater Sudbury Police has been taken into custody for an incident that occurred Jan. 26 while at a Credit Union branch in Sudbury. Police allege she assaulted another woman by punching her in the chest.

Impaired driver arrested, charged

A 20-year-old Sudbury man has been arrested and charged with impaired driving. Police allege that on Feb. 12 around 2:25 am, the suspect was driving a vehicle when he collided with a car parked in a driveway.
