Police report downtown break and enter

Greater Sudbury Police are currently investigating a break and enter on Drinkwater St.. On Feb. 5 between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm, someone broke into a residence on Drinkwater St. and stole a 32 inch LCD monitor and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Drug investigation yields arrest

A Greater Sudbury man was arrested on drug-related charges as he stepped off a Greyhound Bus shortly before 6 am this morning (Feb. 5). Police seized 140 grams of cocaine with an approximate street value of $14,000 and $520 cash.

Police charge shoplifters

Two men have been arrested after being caught shoplifting in New Sudbury Feb. 2. Police allege the suspects, who are 34 and 37 years old, allegedly stole a portable DVD player from Canadian Tire.
