BY KEITH LACEY A 21-year-old college student who took part in an armed robbery at a pizza restaurant three years ago has been spared a jail sentence, but his freedom is curtailed for the next two years.

Greater Sudbury Police are currently investigating a break and enter on Drinkwater St.. On Feb. 5 between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm, someone broke into a residence on Drinkwater St. and stole a 32 inch LCD monitor and an undisclosed amount of cash.

A Greater Sudbury man was arrested on drug-related charges as he stepped off a Greyhound Bus shortly before 6 am this morning (Feb. 5). Police seized 140 grams of cocaine with an approximate street value of $14,000 and $520 cash.

Two men have been arrested after being caught shoplifting in New Sudbury Feb. 2. Police allege the suspects, who are 34 and 37 years old, allegedly stole a portable DVD player from Canadian Tire.
