The Sudbury Wolves are pleased to announce that forward Levi Siau has committed to the Sudbury Wolves Hockey Club.
“Levi was part of an outstanding London Minor Midget team last season. He followed up his strong season with an excellent OHL Gold Cup where he was tied for eighth in tournament scoring and lead his team,” said Sudbury Wolves VP of Hockey Operations and General Manager Rob Papineau.
“He had a great training camp with us and has been a top player in the NOJHL this year despite being only 16 years old. As a 12th round pick, he shows the strong depth of our 2017 draft."
The Thunder Bay native has played 22 games with the French River Rapids of the NOJHL this season, where he has scored 12 goals and added four assists.
He is expected to join the Wolves for practice this week and could see his first OHL action as early as this weekend when the Wolves host the Niagara IceDogs on Friday and Mississauga Steelheads on Saturday.
Both games begin at 7:05 p.m.
