First things first, the Barrie Colts, one of the biggest rivals to the Sudbury Wolves wasted no time last week pulling the trigger on a major deal to shake up the fortunes of the club. The Colts acquired Rob Hisey and a draft pick from the Erie Otters for Andrew Hotham, Andrew Shennan and a draft pick.

Hisey's name had been mentioned in trade-talk rumours with the Wolves.

The Colts, who were struggling, saw the opportunity and grabbed one of the best offensive players in the league, and more importantly, a number one centre for their super sniper Bryan Little, who has also struggled to reach his rookie form that saw him pot 34 goals.

All Hisey did in his first game with the Colts was score a goal and an assist, while being named the game's first star.

The Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds have now claimed second spot in the West Division. The Greyhounds got off to a 3-6-1 start before firing head coach Marty Abrams in mid-October. They brought in former player and coach Craig Hartsburg, who has guided the team to a 9-6-1 record.

Hartsburg was OHL Coach of the Year in 2001-02 (his only other previous foray into the OHL coaching ranks), when he guided the Greyhounds to a 38-20-10 record.

Part of their resurgence is related to Sudbury as three of the nine victories have come against the Wolves.

It seems Hartsburg has effectively restored the pride back into the Greyhounds franchise.

There will be plenty of eyes on the London Knights tonight as they square off against the Guelph Storm at the John Labatt Centre in London.

The game could become a big part of the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) Record Book, as the Knights look to establish a new CHL undefeated
streak at 30 games. The 1978-79 Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League (WHL) currently hold the record with 29 games, when they
went 24-0-5.

There are rumours the Knights are on the market with a price tag of $19 million, and president and head coach, Dale Hunter, will become the coach of the Washington Capitals in the NHL.

Brampton Battalion winger Wojtek Wolski is the OHL Player of the Week. Wolski produced two goals and six points in three games last week.

Wolski and the rest of the Battalion will be at the Sudbury Arena to face the Wolves tonight. Game time is 7:30 pm.

Seven OHL stars will attend the final selection camp for the Team Canada World Junior Championship squad.

Returning veterans Mike Richards (Kitchener), Jeff Carter (Sault Ste. Marie), and Anthony Stewart (Kingston) are joined by forwards Corey Perry
and Dave Bolland (both with London) and defencemen Kyle Quincey (Mississauga) and Danny Syvret (London).

Wolves nips: Rookie Ben Pouliot leads the Wolves in scoring with 15 goals and 30 points in 30 games. (Pouliot is just four points behind OHL rookie scoring leader Jakub Petruzalek of the Ottawa 67's, who has 14 goals and 34 points in 27 games.) Bobby Chaumont is second with 17 goals and 28
points in 31 games. Rookie Ryan McDonough is third with eight goals and 25 points in 30 games. Defenceman Adam McQuaid leads the pack with a
+12 rating in 31 games.
