St. Benedict Catholic Secondary School Bears head to Timmins today to compete and represent Sudbury in the Ontario high school championships.
The Bears rolled over École secondaire Franco-cité, North Bay by a score of 4-1 at the Lily Creek field to win the Northern Ontario Secondary Schools? Association (NOSSA) championship last Friday.

St. Benedict?s Nathan Battigelli opened the scoring early in the game with a short chip shot past the Franco-cité goaltender with David Corelli following up quickly with a 30-foot rebound goal which just caught the inside of the post and deflected in for the Bears second goal.

Garrett Edwards added two insurance markers, scoring both of his goals on penalty shots to give the Bears the 4-1 victory.
