Justin Pitre from St-Charles Bowl, Marc Lafleur and Theresa Lynn Philippe from Sturgeon Falls, and Shirley Arbour from North Bay are headed to the Inter Provincial Team Challenge Championship in Hamilton next week.
The bowlers earned second place on Jan. 9 in Haileybury at a Pins Over Average tournament. From there, the team headed to Dryden for a Pins Over Average event on Feb. 19 and Feb. 20 — an event that was the provincial qualifier. They came in second place, which means they will be the second team representing Northern Ontario in Hamilton at the Inter-provincial Team Challenge from April 20 to April 24.
