The Sudbury Wolves finished another 3-in-3 weekend with a shootout win on Sunday.

The team was in Ottawa battling the 67s.

The game went down to the wire, with the third period closing out with the Wolves and the 67s deadlocked at three goals apiece, sending the game into overtime.

Wolves winger Shane Bulitka turned out to be the hero in this affair, notching the goal that gave Sudbury the 4-3 win.

Also finding the back of the net in Ottawa on Sunday were Black Murray, who scored twice and earned the game's first star, Kirill Nizhnikov, who picked up his second goal in three games, and Cole Candella, who earned two assists.

The Sudbury Wolves are back in action at home on Friday for the annual Teddy Bear Toss game. Help ensure local children don't miss out on the fun of Christmas by bringing a new teddy bear to the arena for the Dec. 15 game against the Hamilton Bulldogs at Sudbury Arena.

When the Wolves score their first goal Friday night, toss the teddy onto the ice. The stuffies will be collected and donated to the Salvation Army through the TD Toy Bank.

This is the last game before the Christmas break. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m.

Tickets are on-sale now at the Sudbury Arena Box Office and online at greatersudbury.ca/tickets.
