Cale Predon has lived up to his words. The Chelmsford wrestler went to Sarnia back in late April to wrestle the current Ontario champion for the spot in the Canada Summer Games and won with a dominating performance.

Predon was unavailable to qualify for the Canada Summer Games at the Ontario wrestling championships because he was recovering from a knee injury.

Predon's coach, Paul Berthiaume, was impressed with the victory.

"Cale dominated the number one guy, beating him by pin in their first match and then by points in the second match" said Berthiaume. "Cale didn't give up
a single point."

Predon will now train five days a week throughout the summer to stay razor sharp. He will also attend Team Ontario training camps every third weekend for intensified training leading up to the Canada Summer games, which will be held in Regina, Saskatchewan from Aug. 6-20.
