Sudbury Wolves forward Landon McCallum picked up his ninth of the season and the team's only goal of the night, Thursday against Barrie.

The Pack’s record fell to 22-33-3-3 after a losing effort in Barrie on Thursday night.

The Colts opened the scoring late in the first period off the stick of Tyson Foerster on the power play to give Barrie a 1-0 lead.

Less than a minute later, Colts forward Beau Jelsma scored what would turn out to the game-winner.

With Barrie up 2-0, the two teams would trade shots for the next period and a half or so without notching any markers.

Finally, about halfway through the third, the Wolves Landon McCallum would pick up his ninth of the year, assisted by Nick DeGrazia and Marc Boudreau, to put the Pack on the scoreboard.

It would be too little, too late though and the game would end 2-1 for Barrie.

Mitchell Weeks was strong between the posts, making 39 saves for the Wolves in the game.

The Pack is sitting ninth in the Eastern Conference, just ahead of Niagara, and 18th overall in the OHL.

Sudbury hosts the Niagara IceDogs tonight at Sudbury Arena. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m.
