The Greater Sudbury Cubs’ post-season begins next week.

The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced Monday the game schedule for its upcoming West Division semifinal meeting between the Greater Sudbury Cubs and the Espanola Paper Kings.

“With national curling events taking over Gerry McCrory Countryside Sports Complex, Greater Sudbury will be hosting their home games in the best-of-seven affair at T.M. Davies Community Centre & Arena in nearby Lively,” the team said.

After two games in Sudbury, the action shifts to Espanola for two games.

If necessary, Game 5 will be hosted by the Cubs, while a Game 6 would be played in Espanola.

“If the series goes the distance, Greater Sudbury will host it on Sunday, April 2 with a 2:30 p.m. matinee at T.M. Davies Arena.”

The winner will take on the winner of the league’s other West series between the Blind River Beavers and the Soo Thunderbirds.
