The Sudbury Five are back in action this Saturday and Sunday as they clash with the KW Titans in back-to-back games at Sudbury Arena.

Tip-off for Saturday’s game is 7 p.m., while Sunday’s game has a 2 p.m. start.

“The Five remain hot as they extend their win streak to six after defeating the Titans on Wednesday, March  22nd in Kitchener-Waterloo with a 134-131 victory,” the team said in a news release. “Jeremy Harris led the team to the win as he scored 39 points and had two blocks, while teammate AJ Mosby Jr. followed with 25 points.”

This weekend marks the KW Titans’ third trip to Sudbury this season and will be the fourth time these teams have gone head-to-head this season.

Saturday is also Mining Appreciation Night, sponsored by Dynamic Earth. Fans from local mining companies will be on hand to help celebrate the mining heritage of Sudbury.

“Dynamic Earth will be on hand with prizes for a few lucky fans. One lucky family will win a season membership for Science North during halftime. Make sure to visit their table courtside for more information.”

Sunday is Minor Sports Appreciation Night, sponsored by Auto Depot, which will be on hand with prizes and giveaways. Three lucky fans will have the chance to win a $500 Auto Depot gift card during halftime.

Following every Sunday game, all fans are invited to meet the Five for a team autograph session. Kids 10 and under receive admission for only $10 all season long.

Newly acquired centre, Dave Bell, is expected to make his debut with the Five this weekend. The 6-10 forward from Cleveland, Ohio, “brings a wealth of experience and talent to the team,” the Five said in a release.
