The KW Titans came into Sudbury Thursday night and got some retribution for a loss to the Sudbury Five earlier in the week, knocking off the home team by a score of 113-100.

With just eight games remaining in their regular season schedule, the Sudbury Five sit at the .500 mark with a 16-16 record.

The Titans and the Five had traded blows throughout the season and have already met 10 times of the 32 games the Five have played this season. The Five were victorious over the Titans on Monday in a closely contested game that saw the Sudbury boys outlast their Central Division rivals, grinding out a 106-104 win.

On Thursday however, it was the Titans who would come out on top, as they dominated the middle portion of the game, outscoring the Five 64-44 in quarters two and three.

The Five's newest addition Maurice "Mo" Jones wasted no time making an impact with his new team, scoring 26 points to lead all scorers, while adding four assists and three steals in just his second game in a Five jersey.

Braylon Rayson and Travis Releford each pitched in with 16 points for the Five, while Dexter Williams Jr. added 12 points of his own and pulling down five rebounds.

The Titans got a strong balance of scoring from their starters, with each of their starting five hitting double digits. Damon Lynn led the way with 22, and was backed up by Akeem Ellis who put up 20 points, Ed Horton had 19 of his own, Tramar Sutherland knocked in 16, and Derek Hall had 12.

The Five will play two more home games in this current stretch, taking on the Central Division-leading St. John's Edge on Monday, Feb. 25 at the Sudbury Arena, before welcoming the Windsor Express who currently sit second in the Central, for a Thursday night matchup on Feb. 28.

The Central Division is a tightly contested race as teams come into the final stretch of the season, with St. John's sitting at 17-13, Windsor at 16-14, London at 18-16, Sudbury 16-16 and the KW Titans are 13-15.
