The seminar is to instruct purebred dog owners on how to prepare, train and exhibit their purebred dogs at a championship dog show. The local kennel clubs will be hosting four days of champion dog shows in Coniston March 27, 28, 29, and 30. This seminar will also assess whether a dog is ready and eligible to be entered at these shows.

The seminar will consist of three sessions. Saturday from 9 am to noon is dedicated to beginners of novice handlers and dogs Â? large to medium breeds only. This will be a dog-handling 101-type presentation. Experienced handles are welcomed to participate to socialize their dogs. The cost is $15 in advance, $20 day of seminar.

Saturday from 12:30 to 3:30 pm is set aside for beginners and novice handlers and dogs Â? small breeds only. Again cost is $15 in advance and $20 the day of the seminar.

SundayÂ?s session is from 10 am to 4 pm for advanced handling class Â? all breeds. This is for primarily experienced handlers or any novice handlers who attended the Saturday session. Cost is $25 in advance or $35 on the day of the seminar.
