The former coach and general manager Templeton has filed a $400,000 lawsuit against the Wolves, citing breach of contract.

Templeton was fired by the Wolves this past year, after failing to guide the Wolves to the promise land.

He had one year remaining on a five-year contract.

He filed the suit to receive the payment for his fifth and final year plus punitive damages.

Templeton, who is suffering from terminal cancer is attempting to fast-track the proceedings.

It has been met with resistance form the Wolves organization. Last week a judge agreed to proceed quickly with one stage of the process.

Templeton claims the Wolves have no justification for withholding the payment.
The Wolves are saying Templeton neglected his duties, misused funds, ignored OHL policies and mishandled players.

The Wolves say Templeton created a negative atmosphere that damaged the club.

Templeton earned an annual salary of $170,000. He also received a vehicle, among other benefits.
