A graduate of St. Benedict Catholic Secondary School, Moxam has competed in the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) soccer finals, and is now playing in the Greater Sudbury Soccer Club under coaches Nick Mancini and Giuseppe Politi, who is also coaches the Golden Shield men.

Moxam has also developed his skills at Toronto-based Winstars Soccer Academy under coach Bobby Graham.
