Gymnasts do well

Sudbury?s Sampo Rhythmic Gymnastics Club sent two teams to Ottawa on June 1st to compete in the annual Aesthetic Group Competition. This competition involves two different routines, free and creative.
Sudbury?s Sampo Rhythmic Gymnastics Club sent two teams to Ottawa on June 1st to compete in the annual Aesthetic Group Competition. This competition involves two different routines, free and creative.

In the teen category Sampo?s intermediate elites placed fourth in free, third in creative and fourth overall.

In the young adult category Sampo?s senior elites placed first in creative, second in free, and first overall. As well, the senior elites won the Maija Ceming Cup, which is awarded to the team that has the highest overall score from the entire competition. This was a great achievement for Sampo.
