Kilganon honoured at his former high school

Jordan Kilganon made a stop at his old stomping, or should we say, dunking grounds last week.

Jordan Kilganon made a stop at his old stomping, or should we say, dunking grounds last week.

The professional dunker, fresh off his trip to the NBA All Star Game in Toronto, showcased some of his skills at his former school, École Secondaire du Sacré Coeur.

After the performance, Kilganon was honoured with his picture unveiled in the school's hall of honour.

"I'm honestly still very speechless. My brain still hasn't processed it." Kilganon said. "This is where I grew up the most."

Kilganon also spoke briefly to the students about the importance of hard work, practice, and the motive to never give up, no matter how small your chances of success.

"I am a fan," said grade 11 student Darian Dechaine. "He is incredibly skilled and crazy. Just crazy."
