NHL top scorer doles out OHL top scorer award

Sudbury Wolves forward Michael Sgarbossa was presented with the the 2012 OHL Top Scorer award June 5 at the Hockey Hallf of Fame Grand Hall in Toronto.

Sgarbossa was presented the award by Steven Stamkos of the Tampa Bay Lightning, the NHL's top goal scorer who led the league with 60 goals during the 2011-12 season. Sgarbossa marked 47 goals and 55 assists in 66 games last season.

Sgarbossa, who is signed with the Colorado Avalanche, finished second in league MVP balloting to Michael Houser of the London Knights.
