The Sudbury Northern Wolves of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League have added Mark Seidel to their staff for the 2002-03 season. Seidel will be joining the club as director of hockey operations.
Seidel held a similar position with the Espanola Screaming Eagles for the past three seasons and has shown a tremendous eye for talent, says Northern Wolves general manager Gary Hall.
Seidel is an Ontario Hockey League scout for the Redline Report, which is an independent scouting service that provides scouting reports to 29 NHL teams.
?I genuinely feel that we have a tremendous core of players from last year as well as a number of great young players in the Sudbury area that we can draw from to seriously compete for a league title this year,? said Seidel.
Hall said team manager Chris Flick, head coach Wayne Goudreau, assistant coaches Steve Warner and Trevor Goudreau, trainer Ricky Goudreau and equipment manager Leo Nault are all returning and excited about the upcoming season.
