The Northern Ontario Junior "A" Hockey Association (NOJHA) playoff series between the Sudbury Northern Wolves and the Sturgeon Falls Lynx gets underway tonight (Wednesday). Game one starts at 7:30 pm at the McClelland Arena in Copper Cliff.
Sudbury ended the regular season with 26 wins, 13 losses, no ties and three overtime losses. Sturgeon Falls had 19 wins, 18 losses, zero ties, and five overtime losses.
Rayside meets Espanola in another series getting underway Thursday in Chelmsford. The other series has Iroquois Falls battling Soo Thunderbirds.
