On Saturday, March 1, Ontario National Training Centre (ONTC) boxing brings its finest athletes to Laurentian UniversityÂ?s Ben Avery Gymnasium for an evening of Olympic-style boxing.

The School of Hard Knocks event will feature provincial and national male and female medallists as north takes on south for a battle of Ontario.

Eric Perrier of ONTCÂ?s Top Glove Boxing Academy will take on national silver medallist J.R. Larkin from Windsor for the main event of the evening.
The bout should be an entertaining one as both boxers are heavy hitters and switch from right handed to southpaw.

Â?WeÂ?re very excited to bring Olympic-style boxing to Laurentian University for the first time,Â? said ONTCÂ?s market director Joey McColeman.

Â?ItÂ?s a great central location of the community and it has a great reputation as a sport environment. The students as well as the rest of Sudbury are in for some of the best boxing action in the country.Â?

Tickets for students and non-students are $10 at the door.
