Pair of Wolves dealt to Attack

Alan Lyszczarczyk and Zack Bowman on their way to Owen Sound

The Sudbury Wolves remained active on the OHL trade market, swapping a pair of players for picks with the Owen Sound Attack.

A day after trading defenseman Owen Lalonde to the Guelph Storm the Wolves traded forward Alan Lyszczarczyk, overage goaltender Zack Bowman and, conditionally, their fourth round draft selection in 2018 to the Owen Sound Attack in exchange for a second round draft pick in 2018 (London Knights), their third round draft pick in 2022 and a conditional fourth round pick in 2019.

“The Sudbury Wolves would like to thank Alan and Zack for their time spent here in Sudbury. We wish them all the best in their future with the Attack,” said Rob Papineau, Sudbury Wolves VP of Hockey Operations and General Manager.

“Both players are fine young men and have been very solid Sudbury Wolves players. We have some good young prospects in our system and we need to ensure that we build a program that allows for their development.”

Fans will have the first chance to see this year's line up at training camp on Aug. 31.

The team is preparing to welcome 50 players and three teams to training camp for the on-ice and off-ice training before the annual Blue and White game at 9 a.m. Saturday Sept. 2 at the Sudbury Arena.
