Thousands crowd the Sudbury Community Arena in support of this annual event

Around 3,000 people gathered at the Sudbury Community Arena Sunday, to watch local doctors take on members of the National Hockey League in support of the NEO Kids Foundation.

NHL Vs. Docs started around 11:30 a.m. with a barbecue and outdoor activities, as well as the opportunity to get autographs from some of the NHL players in attendance.

The main event consisted of two 15 minute periods between the NHLers and Sudbury's leading physicians, followed by a 20 minute NHL vs. NHL showdown.
