Top Glove boxers from OntarioÂ?s National Training Centre in Azilda, won two of their four bouts against rivals from Montreal and Newfoundland.

In the final event of the Â?Rock Â?em Sock Â?em SummerÂ? boxing series at the Sudbury Racetrack Slots, Eric Perrier of Top Glove beat Johnathan Petersen of Montreal with a 3-0 decision. Perrier won two out of the three matches he competed in at this series.
Chris Paulins dominated Steve Collins of Montreal with a 3-0 decision in four rounds of boxing in the final bout of the evening. He Â?rocked Â?emÂ? and Â?socked Â?emÂ? during the entire series, winning all four of his bouts.
In the opening bout of the evening, Top GloveÂ?s Maureen Wilson lost against Lucia Larcinese of Montreal. Erin Woodrow of Newfoundland then defeated Jamie Lea Pollock of Top Glove with a majority decision.
The next boxing event takes place on Saturday, Sept. 7, at the Ontario National Training Centre in AzildaÂ?s Trillium Centre. Tickets and ringside tables are available by calling 983-2693.
