Kyle Doherty and Brock McGillis are the two newest Muskies. Doherty, a former defenceman who played left wing last season racked up 44 points, including 19 goals in 47 games. The Muskies were impressed with Doherty?s size and skill level. Doherty was a former second round draft pick of the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League.

McGillis, who has played in the OHL, will be expected to win the starting goaltender position in Lindsay if he doesn?t make it onto an OHL roster.

McGillis played four games with the Sabrecats last season, registering three wins and a sparkling .912 save percentage.

The players were acquired for a small amount of cash.
