Some 50 young local basketball enthusiasts fine-tuned their skills earlier this summer at Franco Basket Camp, organized by the Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario (CSCNO).
Open to children ages eight to 13, the camp took place at Collège Notre-Dame.
The Franco-Basket Camp enabled participants to develop their basketball skills under the guidance of an experienced team of CSCNO coaches.
The team of coaches promoted the development of basic skills, leadership and sportsmanship in a Francophone environment.
Each Franco-Basket participant received a t-shirt, as well as a progress report and a participation certificate at the conclusion of the camp.
