The Greater Sudbury Lacrosse Association needs coaches and officials. Clinics will be held at the Barrydowne Arena this Saturday for both. The coaching clinic will take place from 9 to 11 am and the officiating clinic will be held from 11 am to 1 pm.

The 20th annual Let?s Skate competition took place at the Countryside Arena in Sudbury earlier this month with skaters from all over the province competed in 95 events over the three-day competition hosted by the Sudbury Skating Club.

Gold medal winners included Eric Charette and Marianne Laporte of the Sudbury Skating Club, who took home gold in the mens and ladies novice long programs.

Other winners included Lisa Rienguette of the Coniston Skating Club, who took home a gold in the open ladies free division, and Kaitlyn Coulter of the Sudbury Skating Club, who won top spot in the pre-novice ladies long program as well as a gold in the pre-novice ladies short program.

Cambrian College will be running men?s and women?s flag football leagues over the summer. Beginning June 2, the league will run every Sunday at the Barrydowne campus football field. League games, rules and schedule times will be announced at a meeting taking place before the start of the season. The cost of joining the league will be $50 plus GST.
