There will definitely be some monkey business going on at the Garson Arena in April.

That's where the Sudbury Sportsman Show will make its annual return. This will be the best show to date, said organizers, featuring boats, ATVs, personal watercraft, pontoons, hunting and fishing products, more tackle, travel trailers and campers, golf resorts, lodges and resorts, docks, mopeds, clothing, sport utilities and more.

This year, organizers are bringing back the exotic animal show with live snakes, alligators, ringtail lemers and a rare eight-month-old Japanese Snow Monkey. Visitors can have their picture taken with some of these exotic animals.

“This year's show has a lot more fishing tackle, archery and supplies than other shows,” said Darren Ceccarelli, marketing director of DAC Marketing Ltd. “We also have a good selection of travel trailers and boats. The show has become much more diverse in all aspects of outdoor activities, vacations and resort living.”

Now in its 34th year, the Sportsman Show has evolved as one of the largest attended and best shows in the North, with two floors full of excitement and also outdoor displays, Ceccarelli said.

There will be many show specials as well as thousands of dollars in door prize giveaways throughout the three days. The show takes place April 5 from 5–9 p.m., April 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and April 7  from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
