The sprinters are sending their largest group of skaters ever (seven) to the Ontario Provincial Short Track Championships, which are being contested in London from March 4 to 5. Amber Ranich, Andrew Hirvi, Keegan Pitre, Kelsey Pitre, Carolyn Hreljac, Kaelyn Pitre and Alyssa Hreljac will all gun for glory this weekend against the best speed skaters in the province.

Stephan Ayotte has passed on the Ontario short track event to compete at the Canada Cup Number 3 Junior Long Track Championships. The competition is an Olympic-style event and takes place in Ste. Foy, Quebec from March 3 to 5. Ayotte will contest his skills against the best long track skaters from Canada and other countries. Ayotte also qualified for the provincial short track event.
