The 6-6 Toronto native spent last season with the Saint John’s Edge in the National Basketball League of Canada (NBLC) averaging 7.3 points and 6.1 rebounds per game.

Glaze attended Grand Canyon University in NCAA DI during the 2015-16 season, averaging 14.0 points per game and collecting several awards such as All-WAC Second-Team, All-WAC Newcomer team, John McLendon Classic MVP and National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-Region VI Second-Team.

A former member of the Canadian Senior Men’s National Team, Glaze represented Team Canada in the America World Cup Qualifiers and the FIBA AmeriCup in 2017.

“We’re excited to add a player of Grandy’s caliber to our lineup,” said Five head coach Logan Stutz. “Grandy is a force in the paint and a very efficient shooter. We’re looking forward to seeing his strong play in this league continue here in Sudbury.”

The Sudbury Five will begin their inaugural season at the Sudbury Arena on Nov. 22. The franchise has now announced the signings of Marcus Lewis, Kadeem Green, Georges Serresse, and Tyrrel Tate.

Sudbury Five season memberships are on sale now at www.greatersudbury.ca/tickets and single game tickets are set to be released on Oct. 22.
