The Five return home to the Sudbury Arena on Thursday, after the team concluded their final road trip of the season last week.

The Five will take on the Moncton Magic Thursday, marking the second time in 10 days the two teams will meet. The Five beat the first place Magic in Moncton last week 136-128, on the back of 41 points courtesy of Maurice Jones. Game time Thursday is 7:05 p.m.

Sunday, the Five will be opening their doors to the community for the team’s first Fan Fest. The open house festival will feature a free BBQ, Kids Zone and live music. Youth will also have the opportunity to meet the Five players and play on the court following morning shoot around. All the festivities begin at the Sudbury Arena at 10:30 a.m.

Following Fan Fest, the Five will take on the London Lightning at 2:05 p.m. in their second last game of the season. The Lightning are the NBL Canada’s hottest team, winning eight of their last nine games.

Sunday’s game is sponsored by KUPP Centre who will have prizes and games for fans throughout the afternoon. Five lucky contests will also have the chance to win $5,000 Sunday courtesy of Allstate Insurance in a half-court shootout.

The Five wrap up their inaugural season March 27 at home against the KW Titans. The Five will be wearing special purple jerseys to raise funds for SEIZE Sudbury, focusing on epilepsy awareness in Greater Sudbury.

Each player’s jersey will be auctioned off during the game, with fans able to retrieve the jersey with their winning bid on the court after the game.

Wednesday’s game will also feature a potential car giveaway, as one lucky fan will have the chance to win a Hyundai Kona courtesy of Sudbury Hyundai. Game time Wednesday is 7:05 p.m.

Tickets for each remaining home game are available online at www.thefive.ca or in person at the Sudbury Community Arena. Limited tickets are available for Sunday’s matchup.
