The Trojan Cup has long been a coveted trophy that Dean Henze wanted to display at the Sudbury Laurentian Swim Club.

The head coach sent a contingent of club swimmers to Barrie over weekend to conquer the cup.

While the team did not secure the senior cup, the under-12 swimmers showcased some great swims to earn top points and bring home the cup.

Last year, the senior team won so Coach Henze feels the junior win is “like icing on a cake”.  Coaches Thierry Middleton and Zach Shalovsky were on hand for the victory.

The junior team roster included swimmers:

Matthew Abbott, Sasha Bouffard, Mathieu Bradley, Maxime Delorme, Hudson Green, Jacob Guillet, Grayson Hingst, Hailey Larochelle, Theo Lefebvre, Elizabeth Makela, Maximilian McGregor, Chloe Ortiz, Keana Richard, Joshua Rioux and Kiana Smith.
