Sudbury Wolves forward Landon McCallum has had a hot hand in recent games, notching six points in three games.

The Sudbury Wolves bid farewell to the 2022-2023 regular season when they take on the Hamilton Bulldogs in their final home game of the season at Sudbury Arena on Friday (March 24).

Game time is set for 7:05 p.m.

“The Pack are back for their final home game of the regular season following two wins at home and one tough fought overtime battle on the road where the Wolves gained five points out of a possible six,” the team said in a release.

On March 15, the visiting Soo Greyhounds fell 7-3 to the Wolves with Landon McCallum contributing two  goals and two assists. Teammate Nick Yearwood put up three assists for a career high in points in a single game.

Then on March 17, the Peterborough Petes paid a visit to Sudbury Arena and they, too, fell before the Wolves. McCallum put up another goal to push the Wolves past the Petes in a 3-2 win. On March 19, the Pack hit the road for North Bay to take on the Battalion. The Wolves came back from a 4-1 deficit to take the game into overtime, but ended up losing 6-5. McCallum put himself on the scoresheet for this one too, netting his sixth point in just three games.

This Friday’s game is sponsored by Northbury Hotel and Conference Centre.

“Prior to Friday’s game, the Wolves will honour overage players Nick DeGrazia, Dylan Robinson, and Kevyn Brassard for their time with the Wolves and in the Ontario Hockey League with a special pre-game ceremony,” the team said in a release.

As Friday marks the final home game, any 2022-2023 Sudbury Wolves vouchers can be redeemed for tickets this season.

“The 2022-2023 Wolves ticket vouchers can only be redeemed at the box office up until game time this Friday. To guarantee a seat we recommend redeeming ahead of the game.”

Tickets are on-sale now for Friday’s game at GreaterSudbury.ca/tickets and at the Sudbury Arena box office.

Following Friday’s game, the Wolves hit the road to visit the Soo Greyhounds on Sunday afternoon to play their final game of the regular season.
