Looking to continue their strong start to their inaugural season in the National Basketball League of Canada, the Sudbury Five are back at the Sudbury Arena this Saturday Dec. 1 as they welcome the Windsor Express at 7:05 p.m.

The Express are making their first ever appearance at the Sudbury Community Arena, fresh off their first win of the season in the team’s home-and-home with the Sudbury Five.

Offensively, the Express are led by guard Ryan Anderson who’s currently averaging 18.5 PPG including 4.0 3PT/G.

The Five are looking forward to the home crowd in their second home game. After a sold-out crowd to open their inaugural season, Vice President of Basketball Operations Bob Johnston is looking forward to more of the same for game two.

“We’ve been fortunate to have the immense support from the Greater Sudbury community on our side. The fun, entertaining and energetic atmosphere is something our players drew from in their game one win and will be looking to do the same here Saturday night.”

The Five are currently led by guards Jaylen Bland and Braylon Rayson. The duo currently sit second and fourth respectively in league scoring, and first and third respectively for average three pointers made per game.

Tickets for this Saturday’s game are still available online and in person from the Sudbury Arena Box Office. Don’t miss out on your chance to see history made.
