About 50 aspiring Kawhi Leonards and Steve Nashes took part in the Franco-Basket Camp organized by the French Catholic school board earlier this month.
The camp was offered to children between the ages of eight and 13 at Collège Notre-Dame July 8-12.
The Franco-Basket Camp enabled participants to develop their basketball skills under the guidance of an experienced team of Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario coaches.
The team of coaches promoted the development of basic skills, leadership and sportsmanship in a Francophone environment, said a press release.
Each Franco-Basket participant received a t-shirt, as well as a progress report and a participation certificate at the end of the camp.
