Thor! Sudbury Wolves unveil new Superhero Game jerseys

Wolves will don Thor-themed jerseys for this year's Superhero Game against the Generals Nov. 15

The Sudbury Wolves will hit the ice in new Thor-themed jerseys during the fifth annual Superhero Game against the Oshawa Generals on Nov. 15.

This year's Superhero Game is in support of the Children's Wish Foundation.

"We have been able to make this annual event to support children's charities and are pleased that it has become a fan favourite," SWSE marketing manager Miranda Swain-Boivin said.

"We are excited to partner with the Children's Wish Foundation this year, who are trying to enhance their presence in the Greater Sudbury Area."

The Sudbury Wolves were the first team in the CHL to wear superhero-themed jerseys back in 2017 with Superman and have since worn Batman, Hulk and Spiderman themed jerseys.

The Wolves look to hold the power of Thor next week as they seek redemption after a disappointing 5-4 loss when the Generals last visited the Sudbury Arena on Oct. 11.

The Nov. 15 game is sponsored by St. Louis Bar and Grill, which will be giving out prizes and giveaways during the game.

Fans are encouraged to dress up as superheroes for the game. Kids 12 and under who are dressed up can get in for $10 at the door.

Thor themed t-shirts will be available for sale at the Official Team Shop with a portion going to the Children's Wish Foundation.

The game jersey will be available for auction throughout the game and select jerseys will be up for bid online at auction.chl.ca
