Tourney wraps up

The 2003 Sudbury Silver Stick/ Bell Canada Hockey Tournament wraps up today at several Sudbury and area rinks. A total of 97 teams are registered from novice to midget at the minor and major A and AA categories.

A total of 97 teams are registered from novice to midget at the minor and major A and AA categories.

Teams as far away as Ottawa, Toronto and Northern Michigan are taking part. A total of 60 teams are representeing the Northern Ontario Hockey Association (NOHA).

Peewee games are being played at the Azilda, Walden and Cambrian arenas.

Atom finals are being held at the Carmichael Arena. The bantam finals are being played at Countryside Arena. Novice and midget finals are being played at the McClelland Arena in Copper Cliff.
